Crochet Series: Basic Stitches: Double Crochet (dc)

Hey to all my friends out there, this is the next installment of my Crochet Series:-) Did everyone get the chance to make a scarf, or at least start one? Did you hit any “snags” (no pun intended! LOL). No one sent me any pictures of their scarves? I wasn’t really expecting any, because I know that it’s your first piece and maybe you don’t think it came out good, or maybe you’re not sure of you abilities yet? It’s okay, I’ve been there:-) Any who, this is the next installment of my stitches. This time you will be learning how to do a double crochet and also how to connect a simple chain stitch pieces to form a circle. I know, I know, you’re probably thinking “Why is she teaching us how to make a circle”? What are we going to do with this circle thing.”? All will be answered in due time my friends! LOL I just wanted to say one more thing before I add the videos, if you ever have any questions, anything at ALL, just put it in the comment box, that’s what they’re there for;-) I will be happy to answer all your questions. If you missed any of my lessons, just look at the side bar—–> over there and you’ll find all the lessons. How cool is that! Ya gotta love Blogs;-) Okay, here goes:

If you like you can practice those single crochets into the circle like she does in the video:-) The most important thing is to learn the double crochet stitch (dc). Don’t forget to practice, practice,  practice!!!!!!!! See ya in a couple of weeks, when we will be learning how to do a Granny Square:-) You’re going to love what you can do with a granny square:-)))))
